Buttons Near the Keyboard

If you have a button that triggers some irreversible action, it’s probably best to keep that button as far away from the keyboard as possible. Think of it like a reverse-fitt’s law, the last thing you want a user to do is tap “Send” while they’re still composing a message. Even Apple gets this wrong (see screenshot). I’ve sent far too many half-finished text messages.
