WARNING: Tweetie 1.2 is coming…

I pushed back the release of Tweetie 1.2 a few days to implement some features a lot of people have been clamoring over. I submitted it last night, so it should be live any day now.

Since this past weekend, here’s what else I managed to sneak in there:

  • Block / Unblock users
  • Refined simple theme
  • Setting for number of tweets to load on launch
  • Remember scroll position on launch
  • Remember scroll position on refresh
  • Improve “load newer” after long delay
  • Link to Twitpic.com for pics
  • Faster favoriting
  • Handle lowercase $stock links
  • Link to StockTwits
  • Mail direct message text
  • Protocol handling improvements

    • This of course is addition to all the other stuff I already mentioned:

  • Japanese localization
  • Instapaper integration
  • Optional landscape keyboard
  • Image compression control
  • Nearby radius control
  • Cached avatars
  • Swap “from” account in Compose
  • Drafts persist across relaunches
  • Retry tweet on network error
  • Refined reply chain navigation
  • Refined user details UI
  • Disable multiple accounts back button
  • Public timeline
  • Swipe shortcuts in tweets list

    • These changes really make using Tweetie a delight. But there is one more thing… it’s exclusive to Tweetie and you won’t find it anywhere else. It’s called the “Popularity Enhancer”. I can’t share details just yet, but stay tuned, it will blow you away.
